The Bible is God's revelation of Himself, from it we learn that there is one God, the Father of all, including the Lord Jesus. The idea that God is three persons in one, is nowhere to be found in the Bible. Similarly the idea there is no God, is dispelled by the Bible asking that we consider the intricacy and beauty of the natural world, which God created.
“Yet for us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we for Him; and one Lord Jesus Christ . . .” (1 Corinthians 8:6).
“O LORD, how manifold are Your works! In wisdom You have made them all. The earth is full of Your possessions – This great and wide sea in which are innumerable teeming things, living things both small and great” (Psalm 104:24,25).
Likewise, we discover the nature and character of God, - eternal, all powerful, yet having a continued interest in all He created. A wise, caring, compassionate, merciful, God who is long-suffering and loving towards them who seek Him. A God who is unchanging concerning the laws He has promulgated, and Who does not tolerate foolish or wicked behaviour.
“. . . He who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings and Lord of lords, who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honour and everlasting power” (1 Timothy 6:15,16).
“For I am the Lord, I do not change . . .” (Malachi 3:6).
“And the Lord passed before him and proclaimed, ‘The LORD, the Lord God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abounding in goodness and truth, keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, by no means clearing the guilty . . .’” (Exodus 34:6,7).
“For You are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor shall evil dwell with You. The boastful shall not stand in Your sight; You hate all workers of iniquity” (Psalm 5:4,5).
